- Objective: to promote
community interest in history in general and in the Blue Mountains in
particular.
- Meetings: first Saturday of each month (except January)
at the Society's headquarters at Hobby's Reach.
When a talk is given by an invited speaker, or by a member.
- Excursions: to places of historical interest, held on the second
Monday of most months.

Research Centre

- Over 10,000 records of people, places and events in the Blue
Mountains.
- Over 5,000 historic photographs.
- Wheelchair access.
- Open every Tuesday, 10am until 2pm, Friday 10am to 12 noon.
Research officer available to assist
with personal research
- Research can be done for you, incurring a
charge.
- Documents can be copied on site.
- Copies of photographs and other images can be
ordered.

Photographic Exhibitions
|
Exhibitions of historic photographs are held throughout the year
with the subjects changed from time to time. |
Historic Cottage
|
Historic Tarella Cottage, built in 1890, is in
its original state and open to the public.
