News: Seniors Festival one-for-one 24 February 2019

IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NSW SENIORS FESTIVAL – THE VALLEY HEIGHTS LOCOMOTIVE DEPOT HERITAGE MUSEUM IS OFFERING:

1 FREE SENIOR ENTRY
(UPON PRESENTATION OF SENIORS CARD) WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A FULL PAYING ADULT OR SCHOOL STUDENT.

Valley Heights Mixed

To commemorate Seniors Festival, volunteers at the Museum extend a warm invitation to Seniors Card holders to take advantage of the special ticketing arrangements* on this Open Day only (each Senior gaining free entry must be accompanied by at least one regular fee paying visitor*). Bring the family along and enjoy the remarkable display of exhibits. Take unlimited 20 minute rides on the “Valley Heights Mixed” in an 1890 “cowboy” carriage behind steam tank engine no 2 - “Stevo”. View model layouts, climb aboard historic locomotives and carriages. Listen to “Charlie” and “Harry” as they prepare for their day’s work on steam loco 5461. Inspect memorabilia and artefacts from over 100 years of railway activity at Valley Heights. Then have a well-earned break in the cafĂ© and browse the shop on departure.

Time: 10am until 4pm (Last rides at 3:30pm)

Cost: Free admission on presentation of Seniors Card, when accompanied by another visitor paying normal entry fee*
